Lesson 1

- Imagination exercise if having trouble finding main character, sketch the
character
- Character development: how to make a memorable character you and
readers will love - What is your character's main problem/challenge that they have to
resolve by the end of the story? - About the author rough draft
- Plot is how your character solve their main problem.
- Secondary characters: Is there an antagonist (character who opposes
your main character) or friends that help your character? - Further develop sketches
- Introduce the Story Arc and finalize story outline
- Work on getting rough story done
- Discuss final format of book, such as in this example
